Actress and BJP leader Khushbu criticized Tamil Prime Minister Nadu MK Stalin who remained silent without correcting the DMK leader who made defamatory remarks against her. Khushbu asked why she was still keeping quiet, hoping that Stalin would stand by him regarding the DMK leader’s offensive comments.
DMK leader and parliamentarian Kanimozhi expressed regret to Khushbu over the controversial remarks made by DMK leader Zeidai Siddique. After this, the actor opposed Stalin’s silence. The controversy erupted when Saidai Siddique named BJP leaders and actresses Khushbu, Namitha, Gautami and Gayatri Raghuram as “objects” while he was speaking at an event.
Khushbu says the lotus will bloom in Tamil Nadu. Even though the hair grows on Amit Shah’s head, I don’t think the lotus will blossom in Tamil Nadu – Siddique had also preached. Khushbu said legal action will be taken against the DMK leader who made the controversial remark. I will go as far as possible against his remarks. I will also file a complaint against him to protect my identity and dignity – Khushbu said.
Khushbu stressed that he felt the DMK leader’s remarks were very personal. “By making these remarks he has become very degraded. My daughters, who are 22 and 19, will question me about this. I have to be an example for them. The DMK leader made these insulting remarks against me in a public forum.
Didn’t he say Khushbu is easy to get? He publicly called me a whore. I only have one thing to ask the Prime Minister. If anyone in my group had made such a remark, would he have remained silent like this? ‘- Khushbu asked.
