The network has a plasma video of the Sun in record resolution

The video was posted on ESA’s official YouTube channel.

The solar corona is the thinner, hottest upper layer of the solar atmosphere, which consists of plasma. The video shows a “calm” area with almost no signs of activity.

This was the second time the probe had approached the Sun. It happened on 12 October at 20:00 Moscow time and on 13 October, after passing the closest point, a video was shot. The image covers 105 km of the Sun’s surface. The area of the entire frame is an area equivalent to 2048 planets the size of Earth.
