This substance belongs to the vitamins of group B, it is number 4 and has another name – choline. In small quantities the body itself can produce B4, but often these reserves are critically insufficient to cover all our needs, especially in conditions of physical and mental stress.
In some situations, we need a lot more choline than we can produce, so it’s important to know which foods you can get B4 from and when to talk to your doctor about taking extra choline. This was told to Dr. Peter by an endocrinologist, nutritionist Elizaveta Dzantieva.
