The elevated toll road will extend over JORR, here is the route

Jakarta

high toll it will be built along the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) toll road. An elevated toll road will be built linking Ulujami to Cikunir for over 21 kilometers.

PT Nusantara Infrastructure through its subsidiary PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN) will work on this project. The chairman PT MUN director Donni Hasan explained that the elevated toll road was built to overcome the problem of heavy traffic on the JORR toll road.

“We bring it back from there to Ulujami, because the traffic concentration there is the highest. Not in JORR 1, which is still around 80,000 (vehicles per day), but JORR 2 is over 100,000 in all,” Donni told media meeting at the Equity Tower, South Jakarta, Thursday (10/27/2022).

Later this elevated toll road starts from the Ulujami area and will descend around the Jati Asih area. There will be some distribution of traffic flow in that area. Some go on the city center toll road, while others can continue their journey directly on the Cikampek elevated toll road or MBZ toll road.

“Kuta builds a ring road starting from Ulujami. We go down to Jati Asih, then we can go straight up again. So there it splits, there is the toll road of the CMNP center, the other goes up to Cikampek,” said Donni.

In Donni’s explanation, this toll road will have 3 crossing points, namely at Ulujami, Jagorawi and Jati Asih. Meanwhile, two toll booths, also known as up / down ramps, will be built at Pondok Indah and Bambu Apus. There will be two lanes with two lanes to be built on the toll road.

According to detikcom, the cost of building this toll road is 21.56 trillion rupees. The length will reach 21.5 kilometers connecting Jakarta and Bekasi.

“The effective length is 21.5 km, two areas have passed through the regencies of Bekasi and Jakarta,” said Donni.

In a detikcom note, citing data from the PPP node of the PUPR ministry, the Cikunir – Ulujami elevated toll road construction project of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) proposed by the consortium of PT Marga Metro Nusantara, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Acset Indonusa Tbk is part of the Jabodetabek toll road which is located above the existing Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR).

The design speed can reach 80 kilometers per hour with a lane width of 3.5 meters, an outer shoulder width of 2.0 meters, an inner shoulder width of 1.0 meters, a median width (including shoulders internal) of 2.0 meters.

In the meantime, citing the BPJT data of the PUPR Ministry, the consortium was declared to have passed the pre-qualification on 30 July 2021. In the announcement, participants in the pre-qualification who oppose the determination of the results can submit written opposition no. within 5 working days from the announcement of the pre-qualification.

In the next step, the Toll Road Auction Committee will invite in writing companies or consortia that pass the pre-selection to participate in the JORR Elevated Cikunir-Ulujami Toll Road auction at a time to be determined later by the committee.
