2022 RM4. A “potentially dangerous” asteroid is heading towards Earth

Asteroid 2022 RM4 headed for our planet could be twice the size of the tallest building in Poland – Varso, whose total height is 310 meters. Space rock is expected to approach Earth on November 1st. Although classified as “potentially dangerous” objects, it does not pose a direct threat to Earth – according to the calculations, the minimum distance that will approach our globe is 2.25 million kilometers. This is six times farther than the Lunad Distance, which is the distance from the Moon to the Earth.
