American billionaire Elon Musk posted a recording showing him entering the Twitter platform headquarters, carrying a dock, before completing the acquisition of the platform.
Friday expires the deadline given to Musk to complete the $ 44 billion deal, announced months ago.
Musk agreed to come back a few weeks ago to complete the deal before the case between him and the Twitter board began.
Under the clip, Musk wrote: “Enter Twitter HQ and with me in this dock.”
Musk said the famous platform is in need of many adjustments, including the plan which has proposed cutting a large number of jobs.
It’s unclear whether Tesla’s founder met with the platform’s admins, but he changed his location on his Twitter account in San Francisco, which is the company’s headquarters.
When Musk first revealed his plans to buy the platform, he said he wanted to eliminate fake accounts and solidify his position as a platform for free expression.
But the richest man in the world, a heavy user of the platform and known for his impulsiveness, backtracked for weeks after completing the deal, expressing concern about the number of fake accounts on it and noting that he was more than stated by the administration.
The management of the platform denied Musk’s allegations. He said he was trying to back down because of his concern about the price. A lawsuit has been filed to force him to complete the deal at the agreed price. But Musk is back to complete the deal again on condition that legal proceedings are frozen.
Investors were skeptical of closing the deal, especially since Musk was offering a high price for a company struggling to attract users and grow. The deal must be completed by Friday or Musk will face legal action.
During a meeting to study Tesla’s revenue, Musk said, “I’m thrilled with the deal on Twitter.”
“I think it’s one of the declining assets for a long time, but it has a great opportunity, apart from me and some investors, we’re paying a high price at the moment,” he added.
It came when Tesla faces criminal investigation over his allegations that his electric cars can drive themselves.
Reuters cited informed sources that the United States Department of Justice opened an investigation last year after more than 10 traffic accidents, some of which killed people, during which the driver assistance system, known as “autopilot”, it has been in use.
During the meeting, Musk said Tesla will soon release an update to the “fully automated driving” system, even though the company’s website states that the driver of the car must always keep their hands on the wheel and continue to control it. even when using the autopilot system.
Neither Tesla nor Twitter responded to the BBC’s request for comment.

The deal is definitely closed now
Looking at the history of this deal, you can understand why people are reluctant to announce it prematurely, especially since we’re talking about Elon Musk, whose personality is so unstable.
However, everything we’ve seen here in San Francisco today indicates that it will take over Twitter over the next few days.
It’s hard to believe he would have met with the company’s employees had the deal not been made.
Musk laughed and smiled when he walked into the Twitter headquarters, but he still has a lot of work to do to reassure Twitter employees, especially after news that he will cut staff significantly.
Many employees have also been frustrated with the idea of allowing Donald Trump and other banned accounts to return to the platform.
Reports amply indicate that Friday is scheduled to talk to employees about what’s going to happen at the company.
Perhaps then we will know more about App X, which Musk previously referred to and said it would be an “app for everything” on Twitter.
