22. Dresden Marathon on October 30th

The 22nd Dresden Marathon will take place on Sunday 30 October 2022 from 6:00 to 18:00. On the day of the event, there are extensive traffic restrictions in the city center and in the inner districts of Neustadt, Äußere Neustadt, Radeberger Vorstadt, Striesen, Blasewitz, Johannstadt and Gruna. We ask you to refrain from making city center trips which are not absolutely necessary on this day. It is recommended that all road users plan longer distances and travel times.

information

All closures and detours are shown visually on the themed city map of the state capital Dresden at www.dresden.de/verkehrsbehinderungen.

There is an organizer hotline on 0351-2161717 for all traffic related questions.

On the east-west route described here, the entire route up to Schlesischer Platz remains accessible.

Additional locks for the circulation of bicycles

  • 11: 00-13: 45: Augustus Bridge towards the city center

These are approximate times. Deviations deriving from the course of the event cannot be excluded. Pedestrians have to contend with parking times, as sometimes free crossing of the running track will be limited. Public transport users are requested to inform themselves in detail about timetable changes and stop transfers through appropriate notices. Further information can be found on the DVB AG website at www.dvb.de. We ask for your understanding for the traffic inconveniences caused by the sporting event.
