Abu Dhabi: 940 students in Abu Dhabi disguised as astronauts to set a world record. The mission was attended by students from classes 2 to 7 of the Repton School. The event coincided with the third anniversary of the UAE space mission.

School principal Steven Lupton said the UAE’s space success has paved the way for attracting more students to science subjects. Luca Hughes, Celine Turki and Maris Borovac, who designed the suit and helmet, said it was the success of a week of collective preparation.
