Given the financial situation presented by the Pensions Directorate, there is an agreement that every week 200 loan applications from affiliated workers are received and analyzed, a mechanism that will be applied for a time not yet defined, underlined the general secretary of the Union of Workers at the Service of the Three Powers, Carmen Villalobos.
Referring to the ways in which loan applications are presented before such dependence, the union manager explained that it is an agreement that took place with the Pensions Directorate, with the Ministry of Finance and with the teachers of Section 44, to continue granting one of the benefits to which unionized workers are entitled.
It specifies that it has been established that loan applications are received through tokens that will be granted on a single day of the week, which will be Wednesday and for a certain amount, since it will only be 200, so that workers interested in this benefit can participate the corresponding day, since Carmen Villalobos stated that there are also union-affiliated staff who already have their own file number.
He explained that through this agreement the loan situation can be resolved in an orderly way, “because we know that the Finance has no money; however, the worker’s right is satisfied, as are the credits, ”she said.
At the same time, he reported that a meeting will be held with the Secretary of Finance of the state government with whom the issues relating to this benefit will be analyzed for this end of the year, recalling that it is precisely at this moment that workers have the greatest need to use this option to pay off their savings accounts and outstanding debts.
He recalled that “the truth, what we earn is insufficient and during the year we make use of individual loans through savings banks”, to affirm that although for the moment 200 tokens are distributed for credits on Wednesday, without having Once the terms have been defined, this method will be applied, it will be necessary to define a new agreement with the Ministry of Finance to resolve the increase in loan requests scheduled for November.
