One of Norway’s largest IT projects, the Helseplattformen computer system, will be put into use at the St. Olav hospital in Trondheim on 12 November. As early as July, department head Åsmund Straum communicated his concern that the system affects patients.
– If you press the wrong button, the system does not have a back button. Then you have to start over. It takes time, so we will do less than today and it may slip.
