Jakarta –
After more than an hour of inactivity, WhatsApp is preparing two new features. Not only is it interesting, one of the novelties is highly anticipated for its presence.
1. Logout screen for multiple devices
Currently, WhatsApp is working on improving the logout screen. A new logout area appears after the user logs out of WhatsApp, as shown in the image below.

According to WABetainfo, this new feature is for the following reasons:
- Users can manually log out of WhatsApp from the second device (in this case, the tablet) in the app settings.
- Users can choose to end their existing tablet session from their primary phone in WhatsApp Settings> Connected Devices.
- Using the “Change Number” option found in WhatsApp Settings> Accounts, users can change their phone number
After exiting the application, the user can re-enter WhatsApp by pressing the “Continue” button located in the same section.
The logout screen is currently a feature under development and will be rolled out to some beta testers in a future update.
2. Forward media with captions
Until now, it has been so difficult to forward multimedia content with captions, be it photos or videos. When sending, only the photo or video is forwarded, the text is not included.
The good news is that this problem has now been solved with the new ability to forward multimedia content with optimized text.

As seen in the screenshot above, a new message box appears at the bottom, allowing users to include or remove subtitles when they are about to be sent. This doesn’t just apply to images; users can also forward documents, videos and GIFs along with their captions.
This feature has been implemented for some beta users on Android with version 2.22.23.15.
