To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the real-time strategy game Age of Empires, World’s Edge and Xbox Game Studios unveiled Age of Empires Mobile, the first mobile game in the Age of Empires series.
This is obviously a new attempt by Microsoft to enter mobile gaming, but this is not the first mobile game in the “Century Empire” series. In the past, it launched the tower defense game “Age of Empires: Castle Siege” and the real-time strategy game “Age” produced by KLab Games of Empires: World Domination, the former ending its operations 4 years later its launch, while the second went out of business within 1 year.
And this “Century Empire Mobile” currently only has a main trailer, there is no gameplay news and launch time and the follow-up to this work is yet to be officially announced.
