He stressed that the formation of a government is important in view of the laws to be adopted under the Plan for recovery and resilience, as well as the law on the state budget.
“We hope that a government will be formed, but as we have stated, we will not support a government with the first term of GERB-SDS and we will remain in the opposition”, assured Kulenski.
Regarding the talks with “BSP for Bulgaria”, Kulenski commented on this when their second term arrives, a National Council to “Continue the Change” will be convened, which will take the appropriate decisions. The deputy recalled having announced 16 priorities that they will work on in this parliament.
“It is very important for us to have a budget for next year, therefore we expect the provisional government to take responsibility and submit to the National Assembly such a budget that we can work on, “added the deputy. On the question of the establishment of a parliamentary commission for constitutional matters, which could prove to be a “back door” for the move to a presidential republic, Kulenski stressed that “Continue the change” had declared its support for the constitutional changes.
“We believe that such changes are imperative, so we are ready to dialogue with other political forces. We do not think that the format of a presidential republic is on the agenda,” said the deputy.
