Suzuki Avenis price is more expensive than Vario 125 and Yamaha Lexi 125

PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially presented a new scooter, Suzuki Avenis 125, in Indonesia. This bike is sold at a higher price than its competitors such as Honda Vario 125 and Yamaha Lexi 125.

The SIS explained in its official statement, the purpose of the Avenis 125 was to fill the model gap in the Suzuki 125cc scooter category in Indonesia. This scooter is said to have a sporty, modern style and is fuel efficient. Suzuki Avenis 125 is sold at a price of Rp. 29,970,000 on the road in DKI Jakarta.

Discussing the 125cc scooter market in the country, there are two excellent scooter models in this segment, namely the Honda Vario 125 and Yamaha Lexi 125. Just like the Avenis 125, the Vario 125 carries the concept of a masculine appearance and aggressive, while the Yamaha Lexi has a sleeker, flat deck design.

Now about the price, the Vario 125 is offered in 3 variants and prices, the CBS type is IDR 22,350,000, the CBS-ISS type costs IDR 24,000,000 and the CBS-ISS SP type is priced at IDR 24,250,000. PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) also recently updated the look of the Vario 125.

Moving on to the Yamaha Lexi 125, the Yamaha flagship scooter of the Maxi Series family is marketed in three types and prices. For the standard model the price is IDR 22,540,000, type S costs IDR 25,565,000, then type S ABS costs IDR 28,190,000.

A little chat about the engine. The Suzuki Avenis is equipped with a 125cc, SOHC, injection, air-cooled, SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) engine capable of producing 8.7 HP at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm

While the Honda Vario 125 is equipped with a 125cc, SOHC, injection, liquid-cooled eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) engine capable of producing 11.1 hp at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm

In addition, the Yamaha Lexi is equipped with a 125cc, SOHC, injection, liquid-cooled engine, capable of producing 11.8 hp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.3 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The advantage of the Lexi engine is that it uses variable valve technology, also known as VVA (Variable Valve Actuation).
