Aggression of an adult towards a child. A video appeared on social media showing a woman arguing with an underage boy. From the footage, it appears that she approaches him aggressively and comments are heard from the side: “Don’t hit the baby.”
The boy’s mother, who posted the video, claims that her son was slapped 6 times by the woman in question.
The accident is from the 23 SU yard in Sofia.
“After class, the weather was nice, the children had a snack and spent some time in the sun near the ping pong table. The mother of her classmate comes to the yard, grabs my son’s hand, slaps 6 times, tells him it will break his nose, and then you hear the voice of a teacher telling him to leave the boy, “the victim’s mother said. She admitted that her son and another child in the class had been in conflict for 1-2 weeks.
“In general, the kids in the class have conflicts with each other,” he commented.
The mother of the second child did not want to speak in front of the camera.
The Interior Ministry said there were 2 signals. The first is on October 24th. It comes from a man who says his son was beaten by another child. After an examination at the “Pirogov”, they go to the police and file a complaint. The second warning is from October 25 and concerns the conflict in the video.
The school’s cameras have been checked. “You can’t see the slaps the parent is talking about,” said Nina Chaneva, director of 23 secondary schools.
“The Pedagogical Council of the school does not tolerate harassment and violence against anyone in any way. We invited the mothers and children to a meeting. The woman admitted the slaps and apologized,” Chaneva said.
However, it turns out that the other boy was attacked in the yard on the first day.
Chaneva explained that one of the measures that will be taken is for parents and children to have common events on Saturdays and Sundays. We will also work with psychologists and pedagogical classrooms for children and a lot of work with parents.
