Scientists discover a new planet very similar to marshmallows with its soft atmosphere

Now, scientists have discovered a planet similar to long distance Marshmallow. This “soft” planet is officially called TOI-3757 b and the scientists estimate planet has an atmospheric density similar to aa Marshmallow.

The planet orbits a type of star called “red dwarfWhich is smaller and weaker than Sun.

According to the National Science Foundation’s NOIRLab, as quoted by Mashable, TOI-3757 b is a planet which has the lowest density ever detected around a red dwarf.

Scientists think about density planet similar to a marshmallow as a result of two scenarios.

In the first scenario, the comparison is drawn from planet gas giants like it Jupiter which begins its life cycle as a rocky core.

This mass is then brought closer to the gas when celestial bodies are formed in the solar system.
