From a corner kick on the left wing, the ball lands in the center of the PSG penalty area. Maccabi won the aerial duels, then Seck finished with a header at the far post.
In the 64th minute Mbappé restored PSG’s three-goal lead over Maccabi. Achraf Hakimi sent a gastric bait from behind which met Mbappé on the left side of the penalty area. After controlling the ball once, Mbappe fired a placing shot at the far post, similar to his first goal. PSG 5, Maccabi 2.
It took PSG three minutes to bring the sixth goal to life. defender Maccabi Haifa Sean Goldberg made an unforced mistake so he broke into his own net for the 6-2.
PSG completed their dominance over Maccabi Haifa by scoring the seventh goal in the 84th minute. Messi returned to being a creator after his lure pulled close to the goal line outside the penalty area was hit by Carlos Soler with a hard low shot that rocked Maccabi Haifa’s goal for the seventh time.
PSG’s lead turned into 7-2, which lasted until the end of the match.
