The Ballon d’Or is the most prestigious individual award in football. It is awarded annually to the best player of the last 12 months (August 2021 – July 2022). He voted for Slovakia again in the last edition SPORT.sk. While representatives from up to 170 countries decided last year, this year only journalists from the top 100 countries in the FIFA rankings were eligible to vote.
