A Trenggalek snake charmer, Imam Rokhani (49) lost his life after being bitten by a King Cobra snake. Unfortunately, the 4.5 meter long snake was held by the Imam for 5 years.
Even though it’s been so long, the snake actually can’t be tamed because it has an aggressive nature. The imam was killed by his own pet.
What were the moments in which the Imam was caught by a King Cobra until his death?
At first the charmer wanted to give King Kobra a drink
The unfortunate incident began when the Imam was about to feed his pet snake. The Imam himself has 2 snakes. One is 4.5 meters long, the other is 2.5 meters long.
Before being drunk, the 4.5 meter long snake suddenly attacked the Imam. The caster’s hand has been pecked.
“The snake bit the deceased. It was held for 5 years,” said a relative of the victim, Wahyu, on Sunday (23/10).

Shortly after being busted, the Imam tried to find help. Then he called his sister to come to his house immediately.
“After the victim contacted his sister and asked for help to be taken to the hospital,” explained Stefanus Triadi Atmono, head of Trenggalek PPK Satpol.
The handler was unconscious when he was rushed to hospital until his death.
Triadi said the Imam was immediately rushed to RSUD Dr Soedomo Trenggalek after calling his brother. On the way to the hospital, the Imam was unconscious.
Upon arrival at the hospital, the handler received treatment immediately. Unfortunately, after being treated for several hours, the Imam’s life could not be saved.
“Buried in the afternoon by the family,” added Triadi.
The King Cobra that killed its master is known as Fierce
Triads said the Imam’s King Cobra is known to be evil. Evidence of the violence was witnessed by the Triads themselves. Just when it feeds on other types of poisonous snakes. Not long after the food was placed in the cage, the King Cobra immediately showed its ferocity.
“We put the Weling snake, it was eaten immediately,” Triadi said on Tuesday (10/25/2022).
It was so evil that the Satpol PP couldn’t let it keep the King Cobra for very long. He is aware of the high risk of the snake.
Triads said his party coordinated with representatives of the East Java Forest Service in Trenggalek. As soon as possible, the snake must be delivered to the Center for Conservation of Natural Resources (BKSDA). The King Cobra cannot be released carelessly.
“If we can release the python, but if the King Cobra looks dangerous,” he added.
