One month later than expected, users will be able to upgrade to macOS Ventura and iPad OS 16. If you have an iPhone, you can upgrade to iOS 16.1 starting today.
Most of the attention within macOS Ventura and iPad OS 16 is on Stage Manager. The feature enhances the multitasking experience by dropping open windows along the floating main window. Previously, the tech giant reported that only devices with a built-in M1 chip could expect the feature, but it was later tweaked so that the A12X and A12Z processors get compatibility as well.
New operating systems include access keys (passkey). Security ends the password, but requires users to use two-step verification. Spotlight is also receiving some useful updates, which make Quick Look’s search results appear instantly in a Spotlight window, and the shortcuts work. Then there is a new option for Safari with which you can share grouped tabs with other users.
