In 2018, director Alexei Sidorov made the T-34 film, which was widely advertised on national TV channels and in cinemas. At the same time, the picture was initially positioned as a tape not only for the distribution of Russian, but also foreign films.
Interestingly, the film found quite enthusiastic support in France. The inhabitants of this country, who looked at the T-34, remained in complete admiration.
“A tank movie, which you rarely see! Fury also pales next to him. Top class! ”,“ This is a successful and uninhibited action movie ”,“ Nice little surprise from Russia! The story is compelling, the action scenes are good and the shooting is great with a fantastic setting. ” – writes the public.
But in Russia, the idea of the director of the “Brigade” about the Great Patriotic War caused completely opposite emotions. The public openly criticized the enthusiasm of the French, saying that “the Gauls were amused”. According to our fellow citizens, the T-34 is an excellent example of militarist propaganda in the spirit of the USSR, which today can only cause shame.
