New macOS Ventura features
macOS Ventura (aka macOS 13) is the latest version of macOS. Apple has already announced the update during the WWDC in June. “macOS Ventura includes powerful productivity tools and new Continuity features for a better Mac experience than ever”they wrote at the time in Press release beyond the launch.
Stage Manager – the biggest news – is a whole new way of multitasking. You can group your apps the way you want and easily switch between workspaces. You activate it via the control panel.
Now you can pick up emails right after sending or schedule emails for later. You can edit or delete messages. Spotlight Search makes searching much easier than searching. Thanks to the shared ICloud Photo Library (also for iPhone and iPad) you can share your photos with friends and family much easier. Very interesting is the option in which you iPhone also webcams for your Mac.

We expect the update to be available Monday evening around 7pm. You can download macOS Monterey for free via “System Preferences> Software Update”. Click Update Now and follow the on-screen steps. Note: Apple servers can be busy during the first few hours of download availability. Updating macOS takes a long time, but it can also take longer, especially right after release. In any case, it might be wise not to update immediately. Experience shows that some teething problems can still occur in the first few days after release.
