The incident occurred on October 13, but the video was only released this weekend. According to the Arkansas Police Department, patrol officers spotted a black motorcycle with no license plates and tried to stop it, but the motorcyclist began to flee.
The pursuit took place in Little Rock, with speeds sometimes reaching 193 km / h. When the chase from the city reached one of the residential areas, the motorcyclist significantly reduced the driving speed, stopped and continued to flee on foot.
In the video released by the police, one of the police officers is heard calling the fleeing man to stop and warns him that he will use an electric shock. Soon after, the runaway motorcyclist caught fire.
As it turned out later, the man had a bottle of gasoline in his backpack – the electric shock fired by the policeman hit her and knocked the bottle down, as a result of which a rapid fire occurred. The police responded promptly and took the fire extinguisher from the patrol car, with which the burning man was extinguished.
The arrested man was taken to the burn center of a local hospital in stable condition.
