East Kalimantan Police Mobile Brigade Members Participate in Monkeypox Health Socialization Counseling

Balikpapan, Penasatu.com – East Kalimantan police members Satbrimob participated in monkeypox health counseling from East Kalimantan Regional Police Biddokes led by Kombes Pol. B. Djarot Wibowo, Head of the Health Department of the East Kalimantan Police, Friday (21/10/2022).

Symptoms and signs of Monkeypox begin to appear 14-21 days after being first infected with the Monkeypokx virus starting with fever, headache, body aches and fatigue. The main difference between the symptoms of chickenpox and monkeypox is that monkeypox causes swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy) while chickenpox does not.

“Prevention is avoiding direct contact with animals on the African continent, washing your hands regularly. Get used to the behavior of a healthy and clean life,” he said.
