The action began at 7:30 pm, after which the boat traffic on the Vriezenveen canal was interrupted during the deployment of divers by the province of Overijssel. Shortly after 9pm there appeared to be a level crossing signal at the end of the canal. A sign that says “wait for the red light to go out, another train might arrive”
Firefighters were called after passing ships reported sailing on something.
