NYPD seeks teenagers on motorcycles for Bronx robberies – NBC New York

NEW YORK – Following a string of scooter robberies in New York City over the summer, a new video shows a group of four teenagers on motorcycles that police say are wanted for at least two violent attacks involving have occurred at midday. now away from each other.

The video, obtained exclusively from our sister station NBC New York, shows teens in two engines locating their target on Monday afternoon. They can be seen filming on West 238th Street in Kingsbridge at around 3pm and the video shows the unsuspecting victim lighting a cigarette just a few steps from the front door of her building near Riverdale Crossing Shopping Center.

The suspects then rush into it, with one seen on video pulling out a gun while the other steals the victim’s gold chain and cellphone.

A man familiar with the victim said he was not injured, but said the attack worried the residents of the Kingsbridge apartment building for their safety.

“It’s pretty scary that you can’t walk safely to your apartment or your own building. It’s pretty scary, “the man said.

Police said the group was responsible for another attack not long after, less than a mile away. The suspects rode two motorcycles, one red with black, the other black and yellow.

It is also possible that the four are the same group wanted in more than 30 other attacks across the city.
