Boris Becker’s life in prison – he lost eight kilos

After hiding the assets in connection with his personal bankruptcy, Boris Becker was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison.

The sentence was served by the German tennis icon first in the Wandsworth “horror prison”, but was later transferred to HMP Huntercombe outside the English city of Nuffield.

There, Becker underwent a major transformation. The German newspaper Bild reports that the 54-year-old has lost eight kilos of weight.

The tennis icon, located in a low-security ward, is described as very active in prison training activities and has become an aid to the physiotherapist.

– As an athlete, he knows the ups and downs of wins and losses. He shares his life experience with his fellow inmates, a source tells Bild.

The lawyer: “He’s fine”

According to the source, Becker teaches about 45 fellow inmates in exercise, nutrition, and crisis management. In addition, she instructs the prisoners in a “special kind of yoga and meditation”.

With the low level of security in the department, Becker has access to several facilities. The prison has, among other things, a climbing wall, an artificial grass pitch and a gymnasium.

Becker, who can also communicate with loved ones from prison, is pleased with the situation.

– My client continues to do well under these circumstances and has integrated well into daily prison life, his attorney Christian-Oliver Moser tells Bild.
