Arsenal defender Gustavo Canto suffered a tear in his left knee ligament and will be inactive for 40 days. The defender is suffering from a “rupture of the medial internal collateral ligament of the left knee”. The injury “does not require surgery and will require a recovery period of approximately 40 days,” according to the club’s medical report.
