PKS responds to the simulation of Anies Baswedan’s duet with the governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil the most preferred in the Indonesia Polling Station (IPS) survey. PKS thinks it reasonable that Anies-RK is favored because it is a regional leader.
“Mas Anies and Kang RK have the advantage of being both governors and experts. Naturally they like them,” PKS DPP President Mardani Ali Sera told reporters on Wednesday (10/19/2022).
Then Mardani then mentioned the president of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). According to Mardani, considering that Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s son (SBY) has an important capital.

“But Mas AHY has a strong capital of 54 seats in the DPR through the Democratic Party faction,” Mardani said.
However, Mardani left it entirely to Anies Baswedan. Mardani mentioned the need for deliberations by coalition parties supporting Anies.
“Thirdly, obviously the deliberation with all the supporting coalition parties,” he added.

Previously, the IPS investigative institute conducted a simulation of presidential candidate Anies Baswedan paired with vice presidential candidate AHY, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Salim Segaf Al-Jufri and Ridwan Kamil. Respondents were also asked if they liked or disliked Anies being paired with these characters.

Senior IPS researcher Alfin Sugianto explained the findings. He said the Anies-AHY pair was actually the most realistic, but the Anies-RK pair was the most ideal according to the interviewees.
“If Anies-AHY is the most realistic pair promoted by the NasDem-PKS-Democratic coalition, then Anies-RK is the most ideal but unrealistic because they both do not represent a single party in the coalition,” Alfin said during the poll presentation. Wednesday (19/19) ./ 10/2022).
