UEFA has announced that EA Sports has signed a multi-year partnership as a partner in UEFA women’s football.
Under the terms of the agreement, the video game publisher will integrate the UEFA Women’s Champions League into the “FIFA 23” game and support the UEFA Together football marketing platform #WePlayStrong, which aims to attract more girls and women to football.

EA Sports also unveiled its new “Starting XI Fund”, a women’s football acceleration fund designed to advance the game. To get the fund off the ground, EA Sports has pledged a $ 11 million investment that will include investments in games, leagues, clubs and athletes to further advance women’s football.
The video game maker also announced that it will fund a women’s football internship program with every new and existing women’s league partner starting in 2023, designed to inspire and empower young women from diverse backgrounds to get involved in the world of football.
