Losses continue to increase as we get closer to the highly anticipated Silent Hill revival reveal. Konami will stream Silent Hill Transmission later today, and the YouTube broadcast metadata has already shed light on a number of projects to reveal, one of which is the Silent Hill 2 remake. A new report claims the Silent Hill 2 remake is developed by Bloober Team, the studio behind horror titles like The Medium and The Observer will be exclusive to PS5 and PC for at least 12 months after launch. – as mentioned in previous leaks.
According to the report, the remake will feature an over-the-shoulder third-person view similar to the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake, while the game’s graphics would be described as “Amazing” And “truly the next generation“.
Finally, the report also states that Silent Hill veterans Akira Yamaoka (composer) and Masahiro Ito (art director and creature designer) are involved in the project. Their recent social media activity is also strong evidence of this.
