Paul Pogba resumes collective training with Juventus

Finally good news for Paul Pogba. Back at Juventus this summer, La Pioche has not yet played any official matches but his return to competition has never been so close.

Paul Pogba trained in part with the Juventus team this Tuesday afternoon in training. The countdown for his return to the football fields has therefore begun after several months of difficulty.

At the end of July, the French had carried out tests that revealed a lesion of the lateral meniscus. The decision was made not to undergo surgery, but in the end, conservative therapy did not pay off. The feelings of the Frenchman when he returned to the fields in training were not good. The center of the French team had therefore been operated on 5 September.

It will now be necessary to understand when the Frenchman will officially return to the players called up by Max Allegri. The goal is to bring the number 10 bianconeri in Lisbon for the match against Benfica on Tuesday 25 October in the Champions League.

One of the main goals of the Seine-Et-Marne native remains the World Cup in Qatar. Announced for an uncertain time, there are now greater chances of seeing La Pioche with the French team. Good news for Didier Deschamps who will already have to rely on N’Golo Kanté’s package.

A few weeks ago, the France manager announced that he would only choose Pogba if his physical condition was good. The former Manchester United player has 4 weeks to finally start his season before a possible departure for Qatar.
