The two men were hunting deer in the bushes in Shoshone National Forest when they were attacked from nowhere by the grizzly bear.

The bear sat on the back of one of the men, after which his friend jumped on the bear. “I grabbed him and pulled his ear hard,” he said local media. “I felt it bite my bones afterwards.”
The wrestlers managed to shake off the bear and call the emergency services. Rescues immediately intervened on the spot. One of the victims was taken to hospital by helicopter.
Both men had deep cuts, including to the face. One of them had broken his arm. They’ve had multiple surgeries, but they’re happy to be able to tell. He approached the men. “We will be friends for the rest of our lives.”
Authorities warn that grizzly bears in the area are currently very active. They invite people to be careful.
