The Board of Directors of CIRA, the Catalan employers’ association for spare parts, grows with the incorporation of two new members. They are Àngels Lázaro, manager of Recalvi in Catalonia, and Montse García, Head of Marketing and Quality at Recanvis Aicrag.
The association is thus strengthened with two complementary and well-known profiles in the sector. Àngels Lázaro arrived in Recalvi in 2016 to take over the management of the company in Catalonia after a long career in Czechuto – first as an administrative officer and finally as a purchasing manager – and in companies such as Klarius-QH and Yuasa, in both cases as a sales representative.
Montse García, for its part, has been linked to Recanvis Aicrag since its inception in the aftermarket sector, family business led by his father Agustín García – who is also president of Serca – and which has thirteen stores in the provinces of Tarragona and Barcelona.
These incorporations do not respond to the departure of any of the current members, but to a strengthening of the current structure, which recently welcomed two heavyweights such as Antonio Tejada (Recambios Gaudí) and Basi Navarro (Andel). The functions of the two new members will be defined at the next meeting of the Board of Directors.
Lázaro and García will make their public debut as CIRA members during the eighth edition of Catalonia Distribution Day, which will take place on 23 and 24 November at the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower hotel, in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). More than 300 members of Congress are summoned for an appointment that coincides with the 60th anniversary of the Association of Employers.
