Perfect cleaning of the knobs stuck on the stove. A great trick will also rid you of years of stubborn fat

The stove must be cleaned regularly. The way we use it, dirt cannot be overlooked. But many people forget the oven knobs, which need to be cleaned from time to time. If you clean them all the time, this is usually not a problem and you don’t even need to use a special product. Fortunately, there are ways to deal with neglected dirt.

Trick with the dishwasher

Don’t want to scrub the buttons? Most of them can be removed quite easily. If you don’t have the numbers engraved, you can wash them in the dishwasher. This will make your job a lot easier.

Lemon juice

You will need a lemon and an old toothbrush. Squeeze the lemon juice, dip the brush in it and carefully clean the area around the button.

Sodium bicarbonate

Baking soda will perfectly eliminate the fat. Just apply it on a damp cloth and spread it out, leave it on for a few minutes and then dry it. Soda does not harm the surface in any way, so it can be used universally.

Ammonia can withstand even the most stubborn dirt

Can’t wash the buttons in the dishwasher? It’s not even a big deal. Ammonia is easy to find in drugstores and can handle stubborn dirt without a problem. Since it is a strong chemical, you should adhere to basic safety rules when using it. Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wear protective gloves. You can make the job easier with cotton swabs soaked in ammonia. Finally, just scrub the cleaned area with a soft sponge and that’s it.

Active cleansing foam

For extremely stubborn dirt, you will eventually have to choose a larger gauge, for example in the form of active cleaning foam. You can also find it in every pharmacy and it will not only help you clean around the cooker knobs, but with other appliances as well.
