National police chief instructs Propam division chief to delve into “Sarang extortion” scribbles at Luwu resort police

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo responding to the input of Polri staff and the public who asked to investigate the existence of “Extortion of Sarang” at the Luwu Police Station, South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi). Sigit has ordered the head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Syahardiantono, to investigate.

“There is input from Polri staff and the public on the matter. Therefore, I have instructed the head of the Propam division and his staff to explore the emergence of the writing,” Sigit told reporters, Jakarta, on Monday (10/17/2022 ).

Not just the Propam Division, Sigit said he also ordered the South Sulawesi Police Chief to do the same in relation to further investigation.

“I also asked the regional police chief to investigate the matter immediately,” Sigit said.

Note that “Sarang Extortion” appears on the wall of the Luwu Police Station in South Sulawesi. The scribble would have been written by a member of the Aipda human resources police.

As for the scribbles, Aipda HR said they are ready to try the words ‘Sarang Extortion’. On the other hand, Luwu police themselves claimed that the figure who made the graffiti on the wall had a mental disorder.
