In Occitania, the Regional Health Agency, the Regional Directorate of Economy, Employment, Labor and Solidarity (DREETS), the Management Association of the Fund for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (AGEFIPH), the Fund for Integration of Persons with Disabilities into Public Service (FIPHFP) are once again joining forces to mobilize as many participants as possible for this national #DUODAY day of November 17, 2022. The aim is to both collect received ideas about disability and open the doors of employers, generating professional opportunities.
On average, 10% of the couples formed result in job offers, apprenticeship contracts or internships.
Despite an exceptional health context, the 2021 edition generated more than 1000 duets in Occitania throughout the national territory: there were over 800 employers, local authorities, associations, public sector institutions, businesses and service companies.
The goal of #DUODAY: the integration of people with disabilities
For all employers welcoming the duets that day, the advantages of participating in #DUODAY are numerous: discovery of the skills of workers with disabilities in a very short period and without any other commitment, openness to diversity and disability in particular, mobilization of human resources and social sharing values.
For people with disabilitiesthe #DUODAY experience is a real opportunity to discover work in an ordinary environment, clarify a professional project, start an integration process, promote skills and live a new experience.
This interest is shared by integration, support and training professionals : the #DUODAY operation allows us to better understand the expectations, hesitations and brakes of companies to better support them in their integration projects for employees with disabilities, to know their needs in terms of employment and skills, to collaborate with new companies.
