Afraid of being scolded by Ferdy Sambo, AKBP Arif Rachman broke the contents of the laptop of CCTV recordings during the murder of Brigadier J

GIACARTA, KOMPAS.com – AKBP Arif Rachman Arifin is said to have deliberately broken the laptop used to store files file registration closed circuit camera at the scene of the case, showing footage before Yosua Nofriansyah Hutabarat (Brigadir J) was shot dead by Bharada Richard Eliezer on the orders of the former head of the National Police Propam Division Ferdi Sambo.

According to The accusation of Ferdy Sambo, it started when Arif met Sambo to tell him that the CCTV footage he saw was different from the description. I mean, there is no shooting between Joshua and Eliezer.

He then reported to Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan (formerly Karopaminal Divpropam Polri) and Ferdy Sambo on July 13, 2022 at around 8pm WIB.

When he heard this statement, Ferdy Sambo was furious and ordered Arif to delete all CCTV footage.

Arif then left Sambo’s office 30 minutes later and met with Kompol Baiquni Wibowo and Kompol Chuck Putranto.

“Arif Rachman then forwarded Ferdy Sambo’s request to Chuck and Baiquni ‘to delete the files on the laptop and USB pendriveif it leaks, it means that the four of us leaked it, “the prosecutor said reading Ferdy Sambo’s indictment at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (10/17/2022).

At the time, according to the indictment, Baiquni had asked Arif if Sambo had really ordered to delete the footage from the camera.

Since Arif said it was an order from Sambo, Baiquni agreed to delete the CCTV footage.

“Baiquni Wibowo said ‘bang, ask time for backup file privately on my laptop before it was formatted, “the prosecutor said as he read the indictment.

July 14, 2022 around 9pm WIB. Baiquni met with Arif and told him that the CCTV footage of the crime scene on his laptop was clean.

Baiquni then put the laptop behind the driver’s seat and walked away.

Hendra then called Arif around 11pm WIB asking if Sambo’s request had been fulfilled.

Arif then replied “ndan has been implemented”.

“The next day, Arif Rachman Arifin deliberately broke the laptop with both hands and broke it into several pieces, causing the electronic system to malfunction or no longer work, so enter paper bag or office green and place it on the front seat of the car. Next paper bag containing the laptop that was broken is stored in his home, “the prosecutor said.

Then, according to the indictment, on August 8, 2022 around 5pm WIB, Arif voluntarily handed over a laptop that had been broken to investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes.
