Police officers from the Timișoara Road Bureau were alerted on Saturday by representatives of the Louis Țurcanu Children’s Hospital in Timișoara that, on the same day, around 14:00, a 6-year-old child appeared at the hospital, accompanied by mother, for medical investigations, following a car accident that occurred on October 14, 2022, around 18:00, in Barcelona street, in the city of Dumbrăvița, in the county of Timiș. The driver is the youngest son of the Caraș-Severin County Council President, according to G4Media sources.

• “Following the checks carried out, the police officers of the Timişoara Road Bureau discovered that, on October 14, around 18:00, a 27-year-old man was driving a car on Barcelona Street in Dumbrăvița and, at one point, surprised and injured a 6-year-old boy who crossed the road on a bicycle, without insurance, unattended and unaccompanied, following the impact that resulted in the injury of the minor. After the road accident, the motorist left the site of the accident, without the consent of the police. A criminal case has been initiated, in terms of committing the offenses of negligent personal injury and leaving the scene of the accident without the consent of the police or prosecutor, continuing investigations, in order to establish the causes of the road accident.
