Compared to the previous year, last year the turnover of SIA “Nutricia” decreased by 5.26%, reaching 18.06 million euros. The company said that the decline in turnover is linked to the decision made in 2020 to stop the distribution of some products (Milupa puree in a jar) in the Baltic countries. “The volumes sold of mixtures of milk and food intended for medicine have continued to grow, continuing the development of sales and the availability of products on the market, as well as investments in brand recognition,” said SIA “Nutricia”. The company closed the last year with a profit of 400 thousand euros after paying taxes.

The market share of SIA “Nutricia” in the baby food segment increased in 2021, maintaining its leadership position in the baby food market segment.

Last year SIA “Nutricia” actively promoted its products on the Internet, as well as in supermarkets. A campaign to educate parents about allergies and their symptoms was successfully implemented last year, as well as the ‘Small is not big’ campaign continued throughout the Baltic countries.
