A few years ago, Razer released the first version of the Kraken Kitty headset with plastic cat ears on the headband, hardly expected it to become that popular. However, its success has contributed to the emergence of several more similar models, the last of which was the Kraken Kitty v2 Pro, equipped with interchangeable cat, bear and rabbit ears with RGB lighting.
Technically, the Kraken Kitty v2 Pro is identical to the Kraken v3 headset. That means huge 50mm stereo speakers, a detachable supercardioid microphone, 20Hz to 20kHz audio range, Chroma’s signature RGB lighting, and a USB Type-A interface for connecting to a computer.
The novelty will be available in black and green color variants and, more logically for this model, in pink. The three different sets of fins are variations on the same design and vary in length and roundness for a more cartoonish look. Thanks to the double contacts, the fins can be easily replaced without disconnecting the headset.
According to available data, sales of the new Razer headphones will begin towards the end of the year. You can get Kraken Kitty v2 Pro for $ 200, which is more than double the price of the standard version of the device.
