According to this, the original report was only speculation, after discussions “with people who know more”, now he is correcting it, writes the founder of the techno magazine “Frontpage”, Jürgen Laarmann.

He “admitted that he posted the rumor of the closure,” the Facebook post on Friday said. However, this was provided with several question marks and the question, “Anyone know anything more specific?”

Berghain in its current form was opened in 2004 and is the most famous nightclub in Germany, perhaps even in the world. The club has several thousand visitors every weekend.
