Bail condition violated in case of harassment; Manchester United footballer arrested
Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood was arrested by British police after violating his bail conditions in a harassment case.
Police arrested 21-year-old Mason Greenwood on Saturday morning. He will be produced in court on Monday. This news is reported by The Guardian. Greenwood was charged with sexual assault and death threats.
Police also questioned him about the death threat allegation. After this, he is arrested on suspicion of violating the conditions of bail.
Greenwood, 21, was arrested by Greater Manchester police on 30 January. The complainant had shared photos and video of Greenwood’s beating on social media. They said they would face brutal harassment from Greenwood.

They also shared audio clips of Mason Greenwood threatening her with foul language.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have already announced that Greenwood will not be with the club until further notice. Greenwood has a contract with Manchester United until 2024.
