Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” will be revisited in London after painting is soaked by environmentalists

The two activists were arrested by the police and accused, among other things, of vandalism. The suspects are a 20-year-old woman from Newcastle and a 21-year-old woman from London. They have since been released on bail by the judge.

It is not the first time that Just Stop Oil activists have raided the National Gallery. Three months ago, two members of the organization published an adapted version of the painting “The Harvestman” by British painter John Constable. Then they also glued themselves to the frame of the painting.
