An old acquaintance plagued Tromsø – a crazy turnaround saved the day – VG

(Tromsø-Odd 3–2) For a long time it seemed that Odd’s tromsøværing would fool Gutan of the points, but then the Tromsø skier wanted it differently.

Table neighbors Odd and Tromsø are respectively the best and second best of the Elite at using self-developed talent. A statistic that would turn out to be quite ironic in this particular match.

Because already after ten minutes it was evident that Odd’s tromsøværing, Mikael Norø Ingebrigtsen, had sinister plans against the old club.

Back in his old home arena, he slipped through the defense like a hot knife in butter after a silky smooth first touch before hitting 1-0 in the nearest corner.

Current player Odd has nearly 150 games for the Tromsø first team.

SCORED AGAINST THE OLD CLUB: Mikael Norø Ingebrigtsen.

But Gutan didn’t want to be broken by a previous acquaintance. The home team quickly took control of the game and only Odd’s Swedish goalkeeper Leopold Wahlstedt prevented both big and semi big opportunities.

However, there was little the Swede could do when the relapse of a header ended with Denmark’s Felix Winther, who on the first touch scored his first elite streak by scoring beautifully on the net.

Thus, the players trudged into the locker room at 1-1 at half-time.

Strong trend reversal

The Tromsøværing did not know that their old acquaintance had not finished causing problems yet.

Ten minutes into the first half, Norø Ingebrigtsen receives the ball just outside the box before stepping onto the pitch and masterfully repelling the ball.

As in the first half, the hosts returned to action after the late goal even after half-time.

Tromsø had several big chances, including an acrobatic brass kick from former Odd property Eric Kitolano, hitting the crossbar.

CREATIVE: When the stadium spotlight ran into trouble in the second half, the home fans came up with an alternative solution.

It was only shortly before the end that it melted – and not just once:

First, Kent-Are Antonsen scored 2-2 with a fine volley in the wake of a corner kick, and with five minutes of added time the match was far from over.

Just before the end, it was Filip Rønningen Jørgensen who scored when he landed former Tromsø Kitolano player Odd inside the area.

Against his old club, he himself took the penalty that ensured that all points remained in the Paris of the Nordics.

As a result, Gutan overtook Oddrane and moved up to 6th place in the standings. The next test for Odd is at home against Vålerenga next Saturday. For Tromsø, they await an away match against Sarpsborg 08 the following day.
