Donation Sites for Newly Arrived Migrants – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – Several organizations in New York City have teamed up to provide a space for city residents to provide donations to the thousands of migrants arriving in the Big Apple seeking asylum.

Through the Center for Faith and community associations in the Mayor’s Office, several donation campaigns were created that mirrored the charitable acts of New Yorkers who donated items for migrants, especially children.

“They gave me the car, my daughter’s clothes, they helped us,” Colombian migrant Vanessa Ospina told Telemundo 47.
