Offenbach (Dpa) – After a few cloudy and rainy days in many places, the Golden October is back with power on Sunday. The German Weather Service (DWD) promised “late summer sensations” on Friday.
“The start of the new week is unusually warm with highs ranging from 20 to 26 degrees across the country,” said a DWD meteorologist in Offenbach. As a result, it will remain extremely mild throughout the week, especially in the southwest half.
Before that, however, on Saturday it fell “mainly between the Main and the Danube in the water,” said the meteorologist. From the dense uniform gray it rains there again and again. There are also isolated thunderstorms on the North Sea.
According to information, the clouds will become less and less on Sunday. Only in a strip in the middle is there still a little rain, but even there it calms down. It is sunny and dry south of the Main. Monday will be very sunny almost everywhere in Germany.
