Zarco is still the fastest, Marquez is 6th

Giovanni Zarcoknight Pramac Racingcan keep its speed at FP2 MotoGP Australia. The French driver turned out to be the fastest.

On the Phillip Island circuit, Friday (14/10/2022), Marc Marquez he had time to continue his superiority in FP2, after having managed to set a record full speed in FP1. The Repsol Honda rider was leading in the opening minutes of FP2.

Maverick Vinales, the Aprilia rider, was also able to take the lead, and followed Marquez’s time. Temporary Fabio Quartararo it can also be in third place.

Francesco Bagnaia, who is competing for the champion, looks tough in FP2. His position is still out of the top 10.

Towards the end of the session, the competition gets hotter and hotter. Quartararo was the fastest after passing the last corner, but Giovanni Zarco take a dip before time runs out.

The Pramac Racing rider managed to set the best time and immediately took first place in FP2. The Frenchman ultimately turned out to be the fastest, repeating his feat in FP1.

In second place can take the position Marco Bezzecchi, in third place Pol Espargaro. Quartararo, who was hot, eventually had to drop to fourth place. The top five positions were then closed by Maverick Vinales.

Marquez also had to settle for sixth place, followed by Aleix Espargaro, Francesco Bagnaia, Enea Bastianini and finally Jorge Martin in the top 10.
