Compared to Thailand-Japan, the Indonesian MotoGP is special in the eyes of Quartararo

Jakarta

The 2022 MotoGP has entered its final stages, where the races will take place in Asia and Australia. Fabio Quartararo, whose performance plummeted in a critical period, compared the wet racing conditions of the Indonesian MotoGP with those of Thailand and Japan.

Fabio Quartararo had disappeared after the Thailand MotoGP. This French driver took a break, his Instagram profile photo was deleted so he didn’t want to meet the media crew.

Quartararo’s feelings seemed completely crushed. Furthermore, during the race at the Buriram circuit, Thailand, last Sunday (2/10), Quartararo started from fourth position. When he started, Jack Miller, who started from seventh, managed to push himself into the top three.

Jack Miller immediately overtook while the new race was underway. He entered from Quartararo’s right. Unfortunately Quartararo immediately went to the side, he was dispersed in 17th position to finish.

Ahead of the 2022 Australian MotoGP, Quartararo has re-emerged with a sense of peace from his frustration. The Monster Energy Yamaha rider also apologized.

“I was hoping to get better results in the race of course, then we made mistakes from the start. The pressure was very high. And at the end of the race the situation was very difficult. I chose not to speak to the media, I apologize to those in Thailand. “said Quartararo quoted from an interview with MotoGP on Thursday (13/10/2022).

“So yes, it’s really difficult,” Quartararo complained.

Quartararo hasn’t done well in the last three races. El Diablo failed to finish in Aragon, reached the eighth finish line in Japan and finished out of the points in Thailand.

He admits his weakness is when conditions are wet. But why can El Diablo get on the second podium at the Mandalika MotoGP?

“Every time in the wet, it’s okay Indonesia is very special because I never feel good in the wet races. But in Portimao I had a good feeling, even in Japan. Then it was very difficult and I made mistakes in Thailand. Actually now I’m not too worried because we already know why, so we are ready for the next race “, explained Quartararo.
