There are good indications that Angel Di Maria, the star of the Argentina national team, will be able to catch up in the next friendly against our UAE team.
The “Zayed Sports City Stadium” in the capital Abu Dhabi is scheduled for next November 16th.
The friendly will enter Al-Obeid’s preparations for the next benefits, the first of which is “Gulf 25”, while Tango will prepare for the 2022 World Cup.
Di Maria was injured during the match between his Italian team, Juventus, against Maccabi Haifa, in the fourth round of the Champions League.
The 34-year-old had to leave the pitch, as he did not witness his team’s 2-0 defeat.
Juventus confirmed in an official statement that Di Maria reported “a slight injury to the hamstring of his right leg”.
The statement added that the star, born in the Argentine city of Rosario, “will need about 20 days to fully recover.”
According to estimates, Di Maria will return to the stadiums during the first week of next November, which should make him eligible for a friendly against our UAE team.
